Harold Walker

An old friend of Harold´s from Fort Myers. Harold was a wonderful story teller and a master of euphemisms. Sending my condolences. Last Time I saw Harold the twins were still in strollers. Sure had some fun times at Tween Waters. May the family have peace recalling the fun man Harold was on this mortal coil. Travel easy my old friend.

Skooter and I bought our first house from Harold and Jana on Davis Island in our 20´s and time flies. We rode bikes by the Walker´s house just the other day and saw Harold in his garage and thank goodness we turned around to say hello.

I hope the day will come when people can think of Harold with a big smile instead of great sadness. Known the guy, and his Janna, for years and know his smile, perseverance, community efforts, Gator spirit, Plant pride and unwavering love for his family, won´t be forgotten.

I had the privilege of working with Harold at Nike/BCS and getting to know him on a personal level. He was always interested in what was going on in your life and truly cared about you. His passing has impacted many people at our company, and he will be truly missed. My condolences to the Walker family. You will be in my prayers. RIP HW.

I've known Harold since the late 60's at Gainesville attending college there. He was always a gentle person with the biggest heart and spirit...Im so sorry for his family to lose him, for his friends and for his community. I will miss him all my days, Martha
