To Harold's family, I did not find this obituary until today and am very sorry I could not attend the funeral. My grandmother, Henrietta Seymour Rodgers, was a sister of your grandmother, Flossie Seymour Edwards. I would very much like to see and copy a of picture of Flossie, if you have one. She is the only one of the sisters I did not know personally and do not have a picture of.

Dear White family,
I would like to send my personal condolences to you all. With the passing of your parents over these last two years it seems like an end of an era on 14th street. I feel bad that the Xmas card I sent Harold last year for some reason came back twice as undeliverable. I intended to tuck it in this year's card. Our last visit with Harold was nice and it was good to see him. We miss Irene a lot as I know you do as well. But I know Harold missed her greatly and I am glad they are together again. I will never forget your dad sitting in the backyard in a lawn chair wearing shorts and no shirt for most of the Summer.
