Harriet M. CARSON

Age 98, of Oakdale Died peacefully on December 14, 2020 She was born in Cambridge, Minnesota to Edgar and Esther Hokanson on February 19th, 1922. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Wesley; sisters, Grace, Hildegard, Fern and Pearl. She is survived by children Pam (Fred) Bishop; Kit (Wendy) Carson; and grandchildren Stephanie, Nick, Courtney, Chloe and Cassidy. Harriet was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. In her younger years she was very active at Grace Lutheran church and delivered Meals on Wheels for many years with her husband, Wes. She was a hard worker and will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile and devotion to her family. Her family appreciates the many years of wonderful care by Dr. John Dickhudt, the staff at Oak Meadows/Ebenezer, and the special neighbors who helped her stay in her home in her later years. She will be interred at Fort Snelling National Cemetery next to her beloved husband Wes. Due to Covid-19, there will be a memorial service at a later date.
