I remember walking the hall at Spring Branch Middle with my Aunt Harriet. I was in college and studying to be a teacher myself. Every few feet we walked down that hall, a student would say hello to her. I heard "Hello, Mrs. Chancey" many times on that walk to her classroom that afternoon.
I was there to interview her (for a class project of mine) about teaching. And we talked about teaching many more times over the years.
I can only imagine how many students´ lives she impacted in her teaching career, mine included.
