Harry, you were one of the best violinist I have ever heard. Playing the violin at the Whale and Ale every weekend was so GREAT to hear you. I know that you are playing it up in heaven for the Angels and your family there with you. When I pass on, I will be happy to hear you playing it.

Harry was my violin teacher in San Pedro. Some of my happiest moments in music were playing with him. He was kind, patient, and a wonderful person. I will miss him.

I was a viola student of Harry for 7 years. He was a great teacher who always encouraged you and shared the love of music. He has been an inspiration to me to this day as a violinist. I will miss you Harry.

My husband and I met Harry when he was 99 years old as he performed at a friends birthday party. As musicians we were in awe of his incredible talent, strength and vitality while playing the violin bringing a smile to everyone in the room. His talent and personality reached a large community who will miss him. We extend our condolences to his many friends and family.

It was a privilege to have known Harry. It was impossible not to have a smile on your face when talking with him. He was an inspiration and everything we should all aspire to be.

So very sad to read of Harry's passing away. He has been in our lives for so many year, and was at all times a gifted musical artist, consummate professional, witty raconteur and just generally a real pleasure to be around. Harry was constantly gregarious and entertaining, never complaining and always respected and liked by all who met him and especially those who got to know him well. We will miss him greatly and our sympathies go out to his large extended family and so very many friends of his.

I studied Viola & Violin with Mr. Hall many years ago. I remember him fondly. He was a Prince of a man. Such a wonderful and kind mentor. Very patient with me even when I didn't practice. I enjoyed playing Duets with him -- Brandenberg concerto No. 6. Weekly music lessons throughout high school was something I always looked forward to. Bless you, Mr. Hall. God Speed.

Harry, I will always remember how you and I shared the same birthday together June 7. I will always remember how you played the violin at the First Community Church in Rancho Palos Verdes an Summerland and also at The Whale and Ale pub where Rob played the piano and you played the violin.
