HIEKE HARRY A. SR., of Cherry Hill, N.J. died peacefully on July 31, 2002, age 81, beloved husband of Irene K. Hieke (nee Hoffacker), loving father of Harry A. Jr. of VA; Joseph A. of Audubon and Irene Hieke Gardner of Cherry Hill, devoted grandfather of Harry A. Hieke III, Robert Gardner Jr. and Julieann R. Gardner. A graduate of St. Joseph's College in Phila. PA, Class of 1943A. He was a decorated veteran serving as a Master Sergeant in Germany during WWII. He retired from Cigna (INA) in 1983 and worked until the time of his death. Viewing Tues. morning 10 to 11 A.M. in St. Pius X R.C. Church, 344 Kresson Road, Cherry Hill, N.J. 08034. Mass of Christian Burial Tues. 11 A.M. Int. Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cem., Arneytown, N.J. The family requests in lieu of flowers that contributions in his memory be made to St. Pius X R.C. Church at the above address.
