Harry Noel Hines, 71, passed away on July 11, 2025, in Irving, Texas. Born on August 15, 1953, in Lima, Ohio, Harry lived a life marked by his dedication to the community and a deep love for his family.

A proud graduate of Bath High School in Lima, Ohio, class of 1972, Harry went on to serve as a volunteer fireman for an impressive 30 years. His commitment to helping others was a defining part of his life. In addition to his service as a fireman, he worked at Value City in Lima for 12 years, where he built lasting friendships and contributed to the local community.

Harry had a deep appreciation for the outdoors. He found joy in fishing and hunting and spent countless hours enjoying nature’s quiet beauty. He also had a passion for collecting Hot Wheels cars and miniature fire trucks—a hobby that reflected both his playful spirit and his lifelong connection to firefighting.

Above all else, Harry cherished time with his children and grandchildren. He was an amazing dad who took great pride in being present in their lives. His warmth and generosity touched many people around him.

He is survived by his daughter Barbara Levario; son Eric Hines and wife Misty; granddaughter Destiny Levario; sisters Carol Richardson and her husband John, and Violet Peters Boyer; as well as Mike Canada, Connie Horlings, Melody Royal, Gregg Fry, Jenny Martin, and several grandchildren who brought him immense joy.

Harry was preceded in death by his father, Harry Hines Sr. mother, Maxine Hines, and his sister, Brenda Peters Hudson.

A memorial service will be held at a later date to honor Harry’s life and legacy.

May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
