Harry carried a gentleness and kindness about him that would radiate and shine down on everyone he came into contact with. The world was a better place with him in it, and the world will surely miss his presence and smile, as I know I will. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

One of my first memories of Harry was right after he and Lynn moved in next door. I learned quickly that he and Lynn were nature enthusiasts and I asked him to chrysalis-sit for me while we were out of town. I had a few chrysalis that were going to hatch and I needed him to release the butterflies once they hatched. He graciously agreed to do it for us and from then on I knew how special he and Lynn would be. Will miss you my sweet friend. Love, Tiffany

When I joined Audubon and the board of apalacheee Audubon I got to know Harry. Loved his birds and did a meticulous job of recording numbers of birds and conditions. Me and my wife Kim now do the territory for the Wakulla Christmas bird count. We would do the water/ canoe portion and they would do the land portion. I´ll remember seeing their smiling faces when we would run into them. My deep condolences.

Over the years, I would run into Harry as we were both out birding. We would stop and talk.

I enjoyed reading his posts about his feeder sightings. I appreciated him taking the time to share his observations.

He was a good man. I am sorry that he is gone.
