Harry IMAI Obituary
April 25, 1925 - February 22, 2015
With heartfelt sadness, the family of Harry Kiyoshi Imai announces the passing of our loving husband, father, ojiichan and big brother. Harry was born in Steveston, BC the oldest of eight children. In 1942, his family was interned to Greenwood, BC, where he lived for 55 years. Upon retirement from his electrical business, he moved to Ladner in 1996. Harry is survived by his wife of 60 years Irene; daughters Charlene (Brian), Jackie and Annette (Tim); son Derek (Yuko); grandchildren Travis, Cody, Cameron, Hayley, Darien, Abigail and Zinnia; brother Tony. Predeceased by his parents Koichi and Kimie; siblings Fusao, Eddie, Mas, Asako, Terumi and Kazumi. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Delta Hospital and to the care staff at Irene Thomas Hospice. Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 27, 2015 at 2 p.m., Vancouver Buddhist Temple, 220 Jackson Ave., Vancouver. In lieu of flowers and koden, donations may be made in memoriam to Delta Hospital, 5800 Mountain View, Delta, V4K 3V6, or Delta Hospice Society, 4631 Clarence Taylor Way, Delta, V4K 4L8.

Dear Auntie Irene, Charlene, Jackie, Annette, Derek and family. I am sorry to hear the sad news of Uncle Harry's passing. My dad and mom have shared so many storries over the years and although we live provinces apart, there was a close bond within our families when we visited you in BC or you came to see us in ON. Our hearts are with you all, love lisa, frank and the kids xxx
