Harry Penny Obituary
(Affectionately known as Aitch) Of Airedale.
Formerly of Savile Road, Castleford. Former miner at Wheldale Pit.
Passed away peacefully at home after a brave fight against illness, with his loving family by his side on the 18th January 2018,
aged 78 years. The beloved husband of Glenice, a devoted dad to David, Michelle, Julie, Jill, Robert, Wayne, Vicky & Lisa, a very special grandad and great grandad, a loved brother to Joan & John, also a dear father in law & uncle. Will be sadly missed by all of his family and many friends.
The funeral will take place on Thursday 8th February with service in Castleford Parish Church at 12.45pm followed by committal at Pontefract Crematorium. Family flowers by request only please. Donations will be kindly received and divided between Macmillan Nurses and the Justgiving page of Harry's great granddaughter, Ivy Louise.
