May your family be comforted by the Bible's message of a future paradise on Earth in which 'death will be no more'.

I was a student and wrestler for Dr Haa in 1959-'61. He made Physics make sense to me and he was a great wrestling coach

Harvey Hall, 1957 AHS Yearbook

September 7, 2013

Harvey Nutter Hall will always be remembered with the greatest possible respect by the Annapolis High School Class of 1957, of which he was the faculty sponsor.

He was unsurpassed as a teacher, and his students loved him. He was an inspiration to them, and he always had confidence in them. That confidence often translated into great achievements that many of them never expected.

No words can describe the loss to his beloved wife and the rest of his world. I had an opportunity to visit with them a few years ago, and saw firsthand this loving couple and the retirement they had built for themselves. It was the envy of every loving couple, and their devotion to each other was manifest.

Though he taught at AHS for only a few short years, if ever any of its faculty should be inducted into an AHS Hall of Fame, this is truly the man. He was indeed a "Hall" of fame, to me and my other Class of 1957 classmates.

I'm sure that my inadequate expressed condolences represent only a fraction of those felt by every one of the AHS Class of 1957.

Claire, we are truly and sincerely sorry for your loss. It is in truth the World's loss.

Claire
I was an Annapolis High '57 student of Harvey's and like all of his pupils really enjoyed my classes. Harvey made learning fun while still teaching very effectively. The AHS family has lost a very valuable and fun member.
