Harvey Stoliker Obituary
Harvey joined the RCMP in 1957 and served 28 years. He followed that with 10 years at the Bank of Canada.
Well known for his sense of humour, his love of hockey and baseball, and his harmonica, he will be missed by many friends from coast to coast to coast.
At Harvey's request there will be no funeral or memorial service. Cremation has taken place and his ashes will be distributed according to his wishes.

Dearest Heather, Manfred & Annika
I happened 2 be thinking of you tonight Heather...I am not sure why, other than that you have been a great friend and I have never felt closer to anyone beside my brother Michael & Dec. 7th is an anniversary date of sorts.
It is obviously very late but I am so very sorry to learn of your father's passing almost a year ago. I only met him once but I do remember the occasion distinctly...he came across as a very strong personality....I probably could have guessed that he was a top-level RCMP officer if u hadn't already told me ;)
I sincerely hope that your mother Glenda, and of course all family members, are coping as well as can be expected with such a tragic loss.

Harvey Stolicker was one of a kind, and in a very good way. I knew him well when I was a young constable in Nova Scotia and had the privilege of re-connecting with him in Ottawa in the 80s. There are many like me who cherished him as a friend and colleague and admired the wonderful human being that he was. May he rest in peace.

Sharing a house with the Harvey and Glenda for the past 15 year- they are like family. We will miss Harvey dearly as neighbour and friend. He was a third grandpa to my 3 kids who are all better people from knowing and spending time with him. He never forgot a birthday and could sit for hours happily watching kids being kids. I have know no doubt he will watch over us from above.

Harv & I served several years on the RCMP Commissioner's
Audit team. We spent many days away from home & as difficult as it was Harv always kept our work and down time in perspective. We had a wonderful team and time together. What a great sense of humour. May Dear Friend Harvey Rest In Peace
