HAZEL BERNICE GRUBBS
February 1, 1934 – December 16, 2017
Hazel B. Grubbs, 83, passed away peacefully at Brookshire Health Care on Saturday, December 16, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Thelma Cole Hooper; and her loving husband of 50 years, Gilbert Grubbs; and her 2 sons, Steven and Stanley Grubbs; and brother, William D. Hooper.
Left to cherish her precious memory are her brothers, Thomas Hooper of Huntsville, AL and Jimmy Hooper of Farmington, NM; 2 sisters, Shirley Foster of Huntsville, AL and Helen Haynes of Downey, CA; grandson, Timothy Grubbs of Huntsville, AL; granddaughter, Christina Rodriguez of Lynnville, TN; 11 great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and several other relatives and friends.
Hazel loved life and family and all things beautiful. She loved having an active roll in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives! Hazel Grubbs was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her!
You may visit with the family on Tuesday evening, at Valhalla Funeral Home from 6 to 8pm. There will be a funeral service in Valhalla’s chapel on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 commencing at 11:00am. The interment will immediately follow in Valhalla Memory Garden’s Crosses section. Please sign her guest registry at www.valhallafunerals.com.
