Heather Kahn

Tallahassee - Heather Kahn, daughter of Cameron and Irene (Massey) MacIntosh, died from cancer on January 25, 2018. Heather was born on December 23, 1949, and spent the subsequent 68 years giving unmitigated love and support to everyone she knew. She dedicated her life to helping others in her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend; her career as a clinical psychologist; and her interactions with everyone who crossed her path.

In her time of need, she was overwhelmed by the love that her family and friends returned to her. She cherished every gesture of kindness she received and took great joy in the happiness and success of those she loved.

Heather was survived by her husband of 27 years, Howard; her son, Matthew (Erica); her daughter, Heather; her granddaughter, Tiffany; and her brothers, Randy (Shelley) and Wayne (Anong) MacIntosh. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jennifer.

Those who knew her will gather to celebrate her life on February 2, 2018, at 12:00 PM, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, the American Cancer Society or givewell.org. Online condolences may be expressed at www.abbeyfh.com.

Heather is an angel. She was a great gift from the Lord to all of us who loved her. I wish that I had known her from a young age, but I am grateful that the Lord allowed us to meet. May God bring comfort to her family. I will miss you forever dear Heather.
