William R. "Bill" McGeer Of Springfield, PA Bill McGeer, 85, passed away peacefully June 23,2012. Born in East Falls, PA, Bill was the son of the late William P. McGeer and Dorothy Mae (nee Riddiough) McGeer. He lived in Springfield, PA for 58 years. He was pre-deceased by his beloved wife Marie (nee Matteo) McGeer and his daughter RoseAnn McGeer. Survivors: Loving father of Dottie (Steve) Russo; loving grandfather "GAMP" to Matthew, Eric and Stephen Russo. Visitation: Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Thursday 9:30 AM in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 136 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA. Funeral Mass Thursday 10:30 AM St. Francis of Assisi Church. Interment Saints Peter & Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate contributions to St. Francis of Assisi School, 112 Saxer Ave., Springfield, PA 19064. Arr: O'Leary Funeral Home, Springfield, PA

I was very sad to hear of Mr. McGeer's passing. He was a patient in our office (Dr.Levin) for many years and was always kind to me. I got to spend some time with him when his wife was in Delaware County the same time as my Mom. May he rest in peace
