Hedwig "Hedy" Jakob

I miss Hedy and will always remember her positive ways. We still keep in touch with Otto and the daughters

Otto, Michele, Angelika and family, I am so sorry to learn of Hedy's passing. She will always have a special place in my heart. I remember fondly all the good times we had especially when the kids were little. Hedy was a very special person, full of goodness through and through. I am sorry that I cannot attend the services today as I am down in Arizona for the winter. I will come by upon my return. God bless all of you, Ken Almond.

I met Hedy thru Ang and Michelle...I can't tell you how many times I have thought of the wonderful memories she created over the years for us... I have many of her pieces of pottery in a special cabinet. heaven is blessed with a new angel!!!My heart goes out to Otto, Michelle and Angelika and their families.

I first met Hedy as a teenager when we moved to Kamloops in 1967. Over the years Hedy and Otto became very good family friends and as the years went by I began calling Hedy "Sis" as she was closer to my age than my parents. If I could have had a real sister I would have wanted her to be exactly like Hedy, a warm, outgoing, fun loving person who seemed to always care about everyone else first. In my Moms later years Hedy was the bright spot in her life and so enjoyed her visits. I can see them together now...smiling down on us all. We are sad that another part of our lives has been taken away but so happy that she was and always will be a big part of us and our memories.
