Grandmother Golden wasn’t my grandmother, but you would have never known that she loved us all! I miss summer days at their pool, with my favorite cousins Christopher and Elizabeth. My thoughts and prayers are with you all, she was vey much loved!

Helen always, from the beginning when we first met, has accepted each of us, welcomed and encouraged us and has been the best example of one who loves all she meets. She taught our children in Sunday School and was always ready to go the extra step to encourage and help all.
Her legacy lives on the lives of those she touched. We are all better people for knowing her.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and all who love her.

Judy and I celebrate the wonderful life of Helen Golden. We met Helen and Pat Golden when we came to Southside Christian Church in 1978 as Pastor of her church. Helen had a great influence on children and families with her opening exercises each Sunday. She was a superb china painter and she gave us a set of hand painted cups and saucers with scenes of flowers of the Holyland. Helen was a very humble person with a deep faith in Christ. We were blessed to know her and her family. Our love and condolences to Bob and Kathy, Jay and Patti and Jennie and their families.

Bob, I’m so sorry to hear of your mother’s death. I remember her well from our childhood and teen years.
