Helen Marie Peterson

It was always delightful to find Helen on her front porch during the summer evenings. She always welcomed me to sit with her and we'd chat until the sun had set. My husband also stopped by with our little dog since he wouldn't go on until Helen patted him! We will always treasure her.

Helen, I know you can read these: Your gentle tender humor was a gift to everyone who met you and knew you. You were one of a few special people that God sent down here to look over us and make life a better place. And I thank you for that. Mike T.

As the organist at Fremont UMC I always knew where to look for Helen each Sunday. I remember when a certain gentleman in the church had a fancy for Helen.........She was a darling and to know her was to love her.

Helen always added something special to our day. She was a delightful, kind and lovely woman. May her memory be eternal.
