I have such fond memories that come to mind and heart when I think of Mrs. Sawetz (Helen). It brings back memories of growing up in a wonderful neighborhood where the people who lived next door to you became an extension of your family. You saw each other on Easter, Christmas and all the major holidays. The weekend long backyard parties, the wonderful smell of Polish foods wafting through the yards, well maybe not the cabbage…. We also dug out of blizzards and struggled for parking on the Terrace. We came together for the major events, graduations, weddings, births, and sadly wakes. My deepest condolences to the entire Sawetz family she will be missed.
