I was so saddened to learn of Helen's passing. She was a very special person and a great friend to my mother. When I last saw her playing cards on New Year's Eve at the Manor she was having a great time and beckoned me over to tell me about Jimmy. Then she told me to be careful going home. Oh, I'll miss her when I return to Hereford. I've certainly been praying for the family during this time of grief.

Jimmy and Louie Preston,
Just want you to know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. I know how hard it is to lose a mother. I have so many good memories of Mrs. Helen when we were growing up. She and Bernard really loved working togeather and I can just see them catching up on every thing today. Hope to see you soon.

Mrs. Spinks was a very special person. I loved her for the person she was when we were growing up.
