I just heard of the passing of Helen. She was a colleague of mine at MCJVS until I left to teach English at Sinclair in 1990. I will always remember her as the epitome of grace and class, a true student-centered teacher and one whose warm spirit engulfed all of us

Maria and Family:
Helen was a wonderful person who touched so many people. She was funny, thoughtful, and most of all patient. I will always remember the fun times we had in the Centerville Garden Club.

Mrs Stamas was also my teacher...1990 commercial art at MCJVS. She was so very special to us all and I am so saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and to my extended family who were also students of hers that were blessed to have her. I may be just one of many lives that she came to be apart of...but she helped shape me into the person that I am today. Thank you Mrs. Stamas...

Dear Stamas Family,

My thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Mrs. Stamas was a wonderful teacher and an inspiration to her students. She convinced me to stay in the graphics field. I will always hold a special place in my heart for her.

Dear Stamas Family,
I just want to express my sincere regards for your loss of a wonderful lady. Mrs. Stamas was a regular customer of mine when I worked as manager at a local art supply store. Whenever she came in I always received a warm greeting from her and I was always pleased to help her with whatever she was looking for. I am saddened for the loss of her but God knows all. Be encouraged and know that Mrs. Stamas was loved by many.

I will miss you Helen, for who you were, a delightful, heartfelt childhood
friend; you had suffered needlessly; you acted with such good faith toward someone in that you never criticized, belittled nor aggravated anyone. This was a priceless talent that you possessed and it was bestowed toward your family and friends. Your kindness was always appreciated and never forgotten. I have always loved you for these qualities.

To Paul Stamas and Family,
We are heartbroken to hear of Helen's death. I know her road has been difficult as it has for all of you. She is with God now and is in eternal peace. I pray my Father was there to greet her, as he had told me of all you have been through. He loved your family dearly as did my mother and myself. God hold you close and help you through this very difficult time. God decided her suffering was to be no more, and has gone before to help greet us when our time comes. May her memory be eternal, as your family will always be in our thoughts and prayers. Love,
Pia and Rosalee Kanistros
