Helen Susan Towers, 94, died June 11, 2023. If there is a word that describes Helen, it's 'sweet'. Helen carried a positive attitude every day.

Helen is predeceased by her husband George Ronald 'Ron' Towers in 2005 and brother James 'Jimmy' Wright Walckner in 2023 and her parents. She leaves behind her sister Evelyn Bernard and brother Edward Walckner and numerous nephews and nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces and great nephews and great nieces and dear friends in her neighborhood who were her Florida family.

Helen was born in Perry NY in 1928, the daughter of the late Albert Edward Walckner and Helen Craib Wilson Mearns Walckner. Before the age of 2, her family moved from Perry NY to Aberdeen Scotland where she grew up. Helen returned to the USA in 1948 to upstate New York, eventually living in Rochester New York and later moving to Jenson Beach Florida and retiring in Port St Lucie Florida.

Helen and her husband owned and managed Breezy Pointe Cottages in Jenson Beach Florida. A tireless worker, she also worked in the treasury department at Seacoast Bank until her retirement.

Helen and her husband Ron enjoyed extensive travel and favored travel by cruise ships and the Concorde jet.

Helen will be reunited with her husband in a ceremony involving family in Perry NY.

May God be with you, Helen. You are forever in our hearts.
