Helen Vince Obituary
Helen M. Vince, 90, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2012, in her home. She was the wife of the late Frank Otto Hon Boy Vince. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Mohr) Sommers. She was employed at Sacred Heart Hospital for 16 years where she was a linen distributor before retiring in 1995. Helen was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a loving mother and great homemaker. Survivors: Sons, Frank J. and companion, Nancy L. Pitkin, Bethlehem, Victor E. and wife, Carol M., David J. and wife, Tina, Larry D., Allentown, William A. and wife, Kim S., Joseph J. and wife, Peggy S., Coplay; 14 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; nephew, Edward J. Sommers, Whitehall. Brothers, Joseph and Edward J. Yogi, and sister, Anna K. Dovell, preceded her in death. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Thursday in church, 336 N. Fourth St. Call 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in Stephens Funeral Home, Inc., 1335-37 W. Helen will be surely missed, she was an amazing woman who raised sons whom she loved dearly. Remember all the enjoyable moments with your mom and cherish them. My love to you all.

Leslie and I had an opportunity to get to know Helen over the past few years and found her to be a wonderful woman with a great sense of humor...small in stature but big in heart she will be missed by family, friends, and all who had come to know her. God bless.
