Helen Burrell Vinnett ("Petunia") age 73 years passed away at her home on Thursday, August 13, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in New Orleans, LA and was a life-long resident of Hahnville, LA. Beloved wife of Taylor "Reggie" Vinnett for 54 years. Mother of Charlotte Vinnett Green of Hahnville, LA and Keith Anthony Vinnett of Atlanta, GA. Devoted grandmother of DeVon Christopher Green of Atlanta, GA. and Ashley Nicole Green of Baton Rouge, LA. Daughter of the late Ida Joseph Burrell and Dennis Burrell. Loving sister of Theresa E. Burrell, the late Joseph David Dee, Sr. and Melvin Raymond Burrell, Sr. Sister-in-law of Susie V. Charles, the late Eva V. Moliere, Myrtle V. Brooks, Gloria V. Holmes, Leroy E. Vinnett, and Stanley Vinnett, Sr. The family would like to thank Lori Ellis, Sara Hawk and Tiffany Bourgeois for their loving care. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
