Helen Williams Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Sep. 4, 2010.
OBITUARY HELEN WILLIAMS December 26, 1920 - August 20, 2010 Uzenko-Dudzik (Zientek) Helen peacefully passed away in her sleep on August 20, after a brief bout with cancer, at the age of 89. She was predeceased by her husbands Walter Uzenko (1969), Frank Dudzik (1975) and Frank Williams (2005). All who knew her were drawn to her friendly manner, engaging smile and generous heart. She is sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughters, Patricia Uzenko Juliano (Dino) and Linda Uzenko Leddy (James), her grandson Dean Juliano (Shelley), granddaughter Danika Juliano Calderwood (Robert) and great granddaughter Charlotte Calderwood. She will be missed too, by the Dudzik children and grandchildren in Chicago, who fondly called her Granny Helen. To Karl Leddy, she was his loving Auntie Helen, best pierogi-maker. Helen also leaves behind her sister Mary Jurewicz and her brother Chester Zientek. She was truly loved by her nieces, nephews and their families, as well as by her many friends. As she requested, a cremation has taken place. Her life and legacy will be celebrated on September 8 at the Alfred Dallaire Funeral Salon, 1120 Jean Talon E (corner Christophe Colombe). 2 p.m. - 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. A funeral mass will be held on Thursday, September 9, at 12:45 p.m. at Holy Family Church, 7355 Lajeunesse, Montreal. Interment of her ashes in the family plot at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery follows.

Pat,
I won't be able to make the wake or the funeral but wanted you to know that my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Please accept my sincere condolences for your family's loss. I hope you are surrounded by family and friends that can support you in this difficult time.

In sad times, I try and remember the good parts of life; and I can't help thinking how lucky your mom was to be able to meet and know Charlotte. I hope Charlotte brought as much joy to your mom's life as she does yours. --- Cheryl Cantin
