I had the pleasure of meeting Helen in her last few weeks with us and I enjoyed our talks and seeing her smile. She was a great patient to my daily visits with hospice and I´m thankful I could be there to give her a lil extra care before she crossed over.

My deepest condolences to the family. During my short time, taking care of your mother and grandmother, I appreciated the fact that she was always considerate to everyone involved in her care. I know she´ll be missed. Thomas Mandat MD.

I'll never forget all the old stories and the view you gave of life in the past and our family history. You have done so much for me and I can never forget you or your impact on me. Im glad you got to meet mittens in person even if it was only in the carrier. You were the best thing to ever happen to me. I love you grandma :3

Helen raised a wonderful family of kind, caring, and generous children. The lineage continues with her grandchildren and their children. She made a huge difference in their lives and they have touched mine. Sending love, compassion, and peace to the entire family and to Grandma Helen the ultimate matriarch of a great dynasty.

Grandma - I´m already missing you call me your "sunshine." You are the single most precious person in my entire life. I have 33 years of amazing memories with you from "big head, big arm, big foot," traveling (Niagara Falls - you remember that time you went to the casino for "30 minutes" and strolled in 6 hours later; New Orleans, cruises, Disney), living together (how I´d lay my head on you and listen to your tummy rumble and we´d laugh), the night you let me get Lilly because I said she was "small" (she wasn´t lol), and so many others. Grandma you saved me more than once when darkness shadowed me. You may have called me your sunshine, but you were also mine. Now you´ll forever be my sunshine. I love you grandma - so much.

I will cherish every moment we had during my life, the love, lessons and adventures we had starting with Sunday drives with all of us after church to wherever Dad took us, multiple trips to Geauga Lake with our friends loaded in your car, being the best Grandma anyone could ever have for their children and our countless trips we took together (FL, NY, TN, Niagara Falls, MI, NO, NC and the many cruises). I love you Mom forever.
