Titusville - Helene D. Wojton, 104, passed away peacefully in Titusville

early Sunday morning, February 16. Helene was born in Taunton, Massachusetts,

to the late Arthur and Anne-Marie (Roy) Nadeau. Not long after high school Helene was employed by "Bell Telephone Company. Here she worked as an Operator, Trainer and

Supervisor in and around the Boston area. After a much enjoyed and

successful career, she retired early and married her beloved husband Henry.

Several moves later (Columbus, Ohio, Fort Walton Beach, Florida) roots were

firmly planted in Titusville.

Helene was a "Charter Member" of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Mims. She gladly

volunteered to help grow the churches "Attic Shop"( Thrift store) and was also a member of the ladies church group. Ever the happy homemaker, she and her tight-knit group

of friends were constantly involved in the local community and neighborhood

projects. Garden Clubs, Womens Clubs, various classes; arts and crafts;

were all the norm. Basically anything to do with entertaining, hosting or

cooking; being schooled in the "social graces" I think it was termed ...

After all, this was back when entertaining was seen as an "Art Form!"

Helene loved to share her home; hosting many fun-loving

card parties , dinners and the like. There was no shortage of

lasting memories created with family and friends . She will be

remembered for her warmth, generosity and devotion to those

around her .

Helene is survived by her ever-loving and caring son

Kristopher. She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years

Henry. Her remaining family and friends take comfort

in knowing that her remarkable legacy of kindness, faith and

love will live on in all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers please make donations in her honor to Holy Spirit Catholic Church 2309 Holder Rd, Mims, FL 32754. Please sign the family's online guestbook at www.northbrevardfuneralhome.com.
