Hellen Louise Walker

Hellen Louise Walker April 18, 1928 ~ May 17, 2012 Our loving mother, grandmother and sister, Hellen, 84, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2012. Born April 18, 1928 in Orem. She worked for Alpine School District as a lunch lady at Geneva Elementary and various cafés in Orem. She was a member of the LDS 4th Ward Church. She loved her family, friends, camping, fishing and going to Wendover. She married Ira (Ike) John Walker August 13, 1945 in Evanston, Wyoming, they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Hellen is survived by her children: Vickie (Tracy) Southwick and Jay (Pam) Walker, Lucille Walker (daughter-in-law), 10 grandkids, 28 great grandkids, 8 great-great grandkids. She was preceded in death by her Parents, 4 brothers, 3 sisters, her husband Ike, 2 sons, Ivan and Rodney, and 2 great grandkids. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2012, 2 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery, 500 North 100 East. Friends and family may call at a visitation held Tuesday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home, 646 East 800 North, Orem, prior to the graveside service.
