Hendrik Bastemeyer

HENDRIK BASTEMEYER, 88, of Wilkes Barre and formerly of Harveys Lake, died March 1, 2013. Born April 28, 1924, Hendrik with his wife, Alice, and daugher, Gerdina, immigrated from Holland in 1957. The family then grew to include two more children, Tammy and Hank. Surviving are his wife, Alice; children, Gerdina Schwab, Tammy Fuhr and Hank Bastemeyer, and spouses; grandchildren, Michael Schwab, Debbie Knelly, Daniel and Matthew Fuhr, J.R. and Rosie Bastemeyer; great-grandchildren, Gerrit and Ethan Schwab, Griffin and Machaella Knelly, Isabella Fuhr.
