I was very sorry to hear of Henrietta's death. I am a friend of hers from way back....childhood in Bennettsville. We enjoyed summers together when I'd visit my grandmama. My condolences to her family during this difficult time.

I am so saddened to hear about Henrietta. My condolences to the friends and family. I first met Henri while teaching at CE Williams. I left Charleston in 1974, but have always felt connected in one way through Henrietta's wonderful cookbooks. Peace sweet lady.
