Ephraim, New Jersey, he was a dedicated and hardworking individual, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his family. Jim, as he was preferred to be called, served in the Navy during the Korean War.

He is survived by his daughter Kimberly Atkeson, son-in-law Sean Atkeson, 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and his partner Adele Foley.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Wounded Warriors in honor of Jim's military service.
