To: The Irvin Family
My sincerest condolences, prayers and love to each of you. Bro. Irvin is now resting in the Arms of Jesus Christ and Perfectly Healed. Growing up in the Lower 9th ward, the Irvin name was known and respected. I remember Bro. Irvin at many community meetings, beginning at the Lower 9th Ward Neighborhood Council on Galvez St. Being a member of the Lower 9th Ward Senior Center, I often looked to him for historical advice for our "Black History Programs." The "Work He Has Done, Speaks for Him." Until we meet again "Governor of the Neighborhood", rest.
