Henry (Hank) Loew passed away at his home in the Park Shore Retirement Community in the Madison Park neighborhood of Seattle on October 25 at the age of 97.

Hank was born in Seattle on May 5, 1916 to Edgar and Minnie Loew. Edgar was a long-time Professor and Dean of Engineering at the University of Washington. Hank attended Roosevelt High School and went on to graduate from the University of Washington with a degree in electrical engineering in 1937. The couple moved back to Seattle in 1945 where they started their family with four children - James, Susan, Robert, and Stephen. In 1965 the family moved to the San Francisco Area when Hank became the Western Regional Sales Manager for the General Electric Power Division. Hank retired from General Electric in 1981 after 44 years of service. His wife Janet passed away in 1984. Four years later he married Seattle resident Fayne McCaffray, and the couple spent the majority of the last 25 years in Seattle.

Hank was preceded in death by his first wife Janet as well as his brothers Allen and Richard and his sons James and Robert. He is survived by his wife Fayne Loew, daughter Susan Perkins (Larry), son Stephen (fiance;e Irene), four grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.

A memorial service for Hank will be held at the Park Shore Chapel on November 11 at 10:30am. Memorial donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
