Henry Michael McClure

On Monday morning, June 2, 2025, Henry Michael McClure of Clarksville Tennessee passed away at age 69 years, at Skyline Trauma Center in Nashville Tennessee. He died from injuries sustained in a car crash that occurred on Wednesday morning May 28, 2025, in Clarksville Tennessee.

Romans 8:38-39

"For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

On a beautiful summer day August 2, 1955, a darling baby was born to Gladys and John T. McClure. They named this precious baby boy, Henry Michael McClure. Henry was the 5th child born to this union.

Henry grew up in Clarksville Tennessee. He was educated in Montgomery County public schools. He was a 1973 graduate of Clarksville High School.

He was a dedicated employee of Clarksville City Water department, retiring from there with over 30 years of service. After retirement, he started his own janitorial business, where he found satisfaction in continuing to work.

He walked proudly as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, where he dedicated his life in baptism in 1971. He ministered to many and served faithfully as an elder in the congregation for more than 40 years.

Some of his most unique characteristics were the joy he brought, simply by his presence, his infectious jovial spirit, his bright warm smile, and his kind and generous disposition.

In 1979, Henry Michael married Lisa A Carter. They were wed for 12 years. They were blessed with 4 children. 3 sons and 1 daughter. Victor Michael, Jesse Lewis, Clinton Carter and Chloe Britna. These children produced 4 grandchildren, Vincent, Maddox, Teagan, and Cassius.

Henry Michael was preceded in death by his sister Jane Marie Mayo, his youngest son, Clinton Carter, and his second wife Veda Burnett, to whom his was married for 26 years. He fulfilled not only the role of a loving husband but also a loving stepfather and grandfather to Veda's children and grandchildren.

In August 2024, Henry wed his new bride, Fran Santarsiera.

Henry Michael is survived by his aforementioned children, his loving wife Fran, her sons Nichalos (Stephanie), Marcello (Cara), and Rocco (Chisty), Mike's sisters, Doris A. Love and Florence Ogan, his brother Howard T. McClure (Regenia), his nephews Winiford Ogan, Montray Love, Mark Switzer (Iris), Vincent McClure (Faye), his nieces Jacqueline S. Sconyers (Lester), Rochelle Bryant (Richard), Rita Lott and (Veron), Yuvette Ogan, Veronica Davis (Bruce), Florence D. Mason, Mia H. Gott (Troy), Marketta Sanders (Larnell), along with several great nieces and nephews who treasured their uncle "Mike".

Likewise, Henry leaves a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends who will deeply miss him and remember him fondly.

I Thought of You With Love Today

I thought of you with love today

but that is nothing new

I thought about you yesterday

and days before that too,

I think of you in silence

I often speak your name

All I have are memories

and your picture in a frame

Your memory is my keepsake

with which I'll never part

God has you in His keeping

I have you in my heart.

We will miss you always.

The memorial service for Henry Michael will be held on Saturday June 21st at 3pm.

Your nieces were my best friends for decades and I would hear about " crazy" "funny " uncle Mike, and then I became an adult and got to know the man they were referring to. I will say this, one thing is for certain and two things for sure, you were always smiling and was always happy, and loved people, so although this period of time may be a sad one, we are confident that you will stay in Jehovah´s memory until we see you again.

One of the things that make us happy is knowing that we bring something to people's lives that would be missed if we weren't there. I hope Newnie knew that when he was with us. To the family, I know you will miss him as I will. Until we are all together again. So sorry. Marvin

To the family, in one of your most difficult times in life. In the time of darkness, sadness, misery and much strife. Lift up your heads in faith because God said that He would never leave you nor forsake you in the times of your troubles. "A very present help in the time of need"!!! Can't nobody handle God 's business like He does. He said " suffer little children and come unto to me and I "will " give you rest"!!! We may not understand the suffering nor the understanding of "weaping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning". It's my prayer for you that you know that you
know, that you know that "God shall wipe, all of His children's tears away "!!! Love that surpasses all misunderstandings, Renny Hines & Family
