April 21, 1923-Aug. 30, 2009 In Tribute to Henry Mitchell, M.D. Years ago a simple yet poignant letter was sent to Dr. Mitchell that serves as a benchmark to his 50 years of service to the Indiana Community. Dear Dr. Mitchell, I was thinking of you today as I often do. Every time I look at my children I think how wonderful you are. Your compassion for the kids and your concern. You treat each child as if they were your own. I don't know if you know this or not but, no other doctor I know cares as much as you do. My sister and I often wonder how we would make it without you. There were times I thought it was the end of the world holding my sick baby not knowing if he would live or die, and I would get a return call from you, right away I might add, you would calm me and reassure me he was fine. There will never be a baby doctor like "Dr. Mitchell" you are truly one in a million. If you go before me and when I die and don't see you I will know I went to the wrong place. God bless you! And thanks for being you. Love!!! A Mother. Arrangements are private and are being held at the convenience of the family. ROBINSON - LYTLE, INC. is in charge of arrangements.
