Henry Lee “Boomer” Watkins, 30, of Coal City, passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was the son of the late Henry Lee Watkins and Ruby Bailey Watkins.
Born August 10, 1985 in Beckley, WV. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles & ATVs and being with his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory includes his biological parents, Phyllis Howard and step-father Fred Nady of Coal City, and Pat Hatfield; aunts, Brenda Hope and husband Johnie of Coal City, and Peggy Staton of Shady Spring; uncles, Randy Watkins and wife Maudi of Charlotte, NC, and Ricky Watkins and wife Vicky of Roanoke, VA; girlfriend, Connie Roark; several cousins and friends.
Friends may gather with the family Tuesday, July 26, 2016 from 6-7pm at Williams-Blue Ridge Funeral Home in Sophia.
A memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at 7pm with Rev. Gary Eskins officiating.
