Herbert Eugene Eady

Funeral for Herbert Eugene Eady, 80, of Muscle Shoals will be today, June 15, 2005, at 3:30 p.m. at Highland Park Church of Christ, Woodward Avenue in Muscle Shoals with Mike Brooks officiating and Colbert Memorial Chapel directing. The body will be at the church one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Eady died Monday, June 13, 2005. He was a member and former deacon of Highland Park Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Vertie Eady; one son, Max Eady and wife, Frankie, of Muscle Shoals; two daughters, Belva McGee and husband, Don, of Killen, and Vonda Shockley and husband, Paul, of Town Creek; one sister, Bertha Thrasher of Killen; six grandchildren, Amy Tidwell and husband, Brian, Alan Watkins and wife, Sara, Chris Shockley and wife, Tiffny, Tara Mitchell and husband, Michael, Mark Eady and Chad Shockley; and great grandchildren, Ashton, Madison and Jordon Tidwell, Sam and Mallie Watkins, and Sadie and Sam Shockley.
Pallbearers will be Brian Tidwell, Alan Watkins, Chris Shockley, Michael Mitchell, Chad Shockley and Mark Eady.
Honorary pallbearers will be R.H. Hale, Glovis Hale, D.D. Hale, William Grubbs and Dr. Lynn Ridgeway.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
A “special thanks” to third floor Shoals Hospital, Northwest Cancer Clinic, Dr. Lynn Ridgeway and Dr. Brad McAnalley.
