"Herbie" V. King
NEW HOLLAND - Mr. Clarence "Herbie" Voris King passed away Monday, September 1, 2014.
Herbie is survived by his wife Mary L. Sheppard King, brothers and sisters; Kenneth V. (Linda) King, Ann K. (Wesley) Ables and Aleta K (Curtis) Campbell
Herbie is predeceased by his parents Dorothy Corley King Rhodes and Herbert Hoyt King.
Herbie was a Vietnam Veteran of the US Army.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 6-8 in Blizzard Funeral Home and funeral services will be Thursday at 11:00 am at New Holland Baptist Church with burial in church cemetery with the Rev. Owen McAlister officiating.
Pallbearers will be John "Mike" Collins, Daryell Campbell, Glenn Moore, Shannon Campbell, William T. Groomes, Curtis Campbell
In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the New Holland Baptist Church Cemetery fund, 2279 New Holland Rd, Wagener, SC 29164

We did not know Herbie for a long time, but long enough for him and Mary to become very special to us. We will miss his laughter, his whistle and most of all his friendship. We're really going to miss our times with you at the lake. We will see you again dear friend.
