Herman Wayne "Soul" Bazile Sr.

September 18, 1956-October 16, 2022. Herman Wayne Bazile, Sr., affectionately known as "Soul", departed this life in the comfort of his home, Sunday, October 16th, after a long battle with heart disease. He graduated from East Jefferson High School in 1974. He was a Master Barber and was last employed by ADM. He was born September 18, 1956 to the Late Royal and Ruth Bazile, Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Joyce Bazile, Angela Williams, and Nathaniel Bazile Sr. He is survived by his wife Gail Thompson Bazile; one son Herman Bazile, Jr. of Metairie, LA; two daughters Ciara {Jarvis} Wells of Laplace, LA and Chakeitha {Paul} Guyton of McDonough, GA; 4 grandchildren and 1 great grandson, 1 sister Jacquelyn B. Carter, 4 brothers, Roy Sr. {Sandra J.} , Ronald Sr. {Maddie}, Clifford Sr. {Sandra F.} Bazile, all of Metairie, LA, Jeffery Bazile Sr., of the United Kingdom; one aunt Martha Gray of Lake Charles, LA; one uncle Norman Adams of Teaneck NJ; mother in law Maeola Thompson; brothers in law, John Williams, Michael {Ella} and Lonnie {Deitrice} Thompson; sisters in law Cynthia {Steve} Sumler; Stephanie and Wanda Thompson and host of other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends. Family and Friends, Ochsner Urology Department, and Heart Failure Clinic, staff of Passages Hospice, Members of Anchor of Hope COGIC, New Orleans, LA, and Little Zion Baptist Church are all invited to attend the Funeral Service held at Little Zion Baptist Church, 2200 Kenner Ave, Kenner, LA 70062.
