I will miss Herman's care and warmth. No time was ever lost. Reunions always left me with a smile, a sense of real caring, and of course a sharing of a good dog story.

All the best from my entire family as you go through this difficult time. Herman was always willing to have a conversation with the kids (me) at the Schechter Family Club dinners and I am thankful I had a chance to know him. In recent years, we shared some eMails when my parents were nearing the end of their lives and I appreciated hearing from him.

I am very sad to hear of Herman's passing! He always had a huge smile on his face when we would see him...I know he will be greatly missed by all who knew him...
