Herman Rossi Obituary

ROSSI, Herman (Tony) 92 years. Passed away peacefully June 10, 2004 at W.R. Hospital, Western Campus. Beloved husband of the late Ethel (2002). Loving father of Donald Rossi. Predeceased by loving parents Eliza and Jack Rossi, brother Andy and sister Alice. Survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Rossi was the original owner of the Ottawa Tavern, a member of the Caboto Club and of the Foremans Club of Windsor. Friends will be received at The Morris Sutton Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 68 Giles Blvd. East on Friday, June 11, from 7-9 p.m. Funeral service from the Chapel Saturday at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Wendy Paterson officating. Interment to follow at Windsor Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. A tree will be planted in memory of Herman Rossi in the Morris Sutton Heritage Forest. A dedication service will be held on September 26, 2004. All are welcome.
