Hilda Elhard

ELHARD, Hilda May (Luft) 1919 - 2011 Hilda May Elhard passed away peacefully at Bow Crest Care Centre, at the age of 91, on Friday, January 7, 2011. A loving mother of Sharon (Dean) Baptist; proud grandmother of Sherri Tetz; Duane (Kim) Baptist, and great-grandmother of Brendan and Rachel Tetz. She will always be remembered for her many domestic talents, encouraging hugs and generous spirit. Hilda was predeceased by her husband Fred Elhard, infant son Kenneth Elhard, grandson Darren Baptist; brothers: Victor and Carl Luft and sister Florence Gimbel. She is survived by her sister Dorothy Hehr; sister-in-law Evelyn Luft; brother-in-law Gordon (Martha) Elhard, many nieces, nephews, extended family and lifetime friends from her church community. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. at Centre Street Church (3900 - 2 Street N.E., Calgary, AB, T2E 7E3) with Visitation prior to Service. A Graveside Service will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW Memorial Gardens on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Memorial Donations in Hilda Elhard's name may be made directly to Centre Street Church or a charity of your choice.
