Hilda McCurdy

McCURDY _ Hilda Marguerite Miss Hilda McCurdy of Medicine Hat joined her heavenly Father on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the age of 88 years. Hilda leaves to cherish her memory four nephews, Bill (Lorna) Bicknell of Medicine Hat, Keith (Gail) Bicknell of Calgary, Ken (Clarice) Bicknell of Bowden, and Sydney (Kirsten) McCurdy of Empress; one niece, Marion (Haddon) Sears of Medicine Hat; as well as numerous grandnephews and nieces, and great-grandnephews and nieces. Hilda was predeceased by her parents, Allen James and Elizabeth McCurdy; her baby sister, Marion Hilda McCurdy; her brothers, Donald and James McCurdy; her sisters, Ruth Pawlak and Violet Bicknell; two brothers-in-law, Jerome Pawlak and Frank Bicknell; and two sisters-in-law, Jean McCurdy and Ann McCurdy. The Funeral Service will be held in the Empress Community Hall, Empress, Alberta, on Thursday, April 19, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Fred Sirett officiating. Interment will follow in the Family Plot at Mayfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to remember Hilda McCurdy may do so with a gift to the charity of one's choice.
