Hin Kee Fung

Hin Kee Fung March 27, 1926 September 6, 2011 It is with sadness the family of Hin Kee Fung announces his passing on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at Porteous Lodge. Hin Kee is survived by his wife Mi Yung Seto; son Alexander Chi Keung (Su Fun) and their children Corliss and Christina; daughter Lindy Lai Kuen (Tze Leung) Kwok and their children Bonnie and Jason; and son Jimmy Chi Ming (Po Shan) and their son Wai Chung. Hin Kee was born on March 27, 1926 at Magang Village, Shunde City, Guangdong Province, China. He worked in silkworm farming in the village and moved to Hong Kong in the 1950's where he learned the garment industry and started a garment factory. He married Miss Mi Yung Seto in 1954 and immigrated to Saskatoon, SK, Canada on July 10, 1980, where he worked in clothing alternation until he retired. Hin Kee was baptized on July 2, 2011. He was cheerful, helpful and family oriented and enjoyed cooking as a hobby. A special thank you to the staff at Porteous Lodge for their care. Memorial donations may be made to Porteous Lodge. There will be a time of visitation at Saskatoon Funeral Home on Friday September 9, 2011 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Chapel of Saskatoon Funeral Home with interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
