Service: Hiran's life celebration will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at Carter Metropolitan Church, 4601 Wichita St. Visitation: Noon to 8 p.m. Friday in the D&D Johnson Suite at the funeral home.
Survivors: Mother, Gail Sanford; father H.B. Brown; six brothers; four sisters; and a host of relatives and friends.

Hiran,
We have had some good times together since we were 4 I still remember the first day I met u and Justin was telling us about his new friend and since then u have always been just like a part of our family and another cousin to me even though everyone already thought u were our cousin but in my heart u truly were my cousin.....U were always the funniest even when u wasn't trying to be, I love u Hiran and u will be missed by me and my whole family we loved u so much Hiran words can't even explain how much we miss but we will see u again so I not going to say goodbye but see ya later.....My prayers goes out to Mrs. Gail because I know that Hiran was not only your son but a best friend to u as well and my prayer goes out to Hiran whole family stay strong he is with the LORD now.

Gail and family, just know that you are in my prayers. We have been like an extended family and have shared alot of moments with our sons Pokey, Justin and Hiran. I too will keep the memories alive in my heart. He was a good kid and so many young men could and should have learned to be respectful as he was. He will meet with us again. Hiran always looked out for you ladies and he is now in a better position to do so. Keep in touch and know that Pokey and myself love you and will always be here for you as family.
