David Jr,

I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am. I know from the many conversations you and I had how much Homer meant to you. I met Homer a few times and I still smile & blush thinking about those times with you two. I’m not sure who was the bigger kid the way you two laughed and carried on. You told me that everyone should have Homer as a Uncle and you were super lucky to have him for an Uncle, Boss, & a Friend. After seeing you two together I understand what you meant. I know your loss is devastating but Heaven has gained two great souls. God bless you & your family

My thoughts and prayers go out to Homer's family. I also grew up with him in Walkertown, Kentucky, yet I had lost contact with him many, many years ago as my family moved to Ohio when I was in high school. May God bless and comfort the families of Homer and his wife.

I knew Homer and Diane when we were students at Whitesburg High School. It is a tragedy for such a loving, vibrant couple to be struck down in the prime of their lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the Combs and Adams families. May God comfort you in this difficult time.
