I am deeply saddened to hear of my neighbor's passing. His parents were my neighbors for years and his mother was a teacher for many years for Kingsville ISD. I never saw Homer Jr. without a smile and a hug. I will always cherish him and his lovely family. Sending my prayers and condolences to them all.

Our close group will miss Homer forever. He completed our family (Kristen, Michelle, Ricky and Rachel) We always had a blast with him. Just watching him, Kristen and Michelle was a beautiful thing. They loved hard and completely. He was the most generous and supportive person in our lives. There is a hole left where he was in all of our hearts. Kristen, Michelle, Cindy, Brenden and I went to Canyon Lake and put some flowers in the lake and said what we love about him. It was beautiful. We spoke of how much he loved Starwars, Sweets, Michelle, Kristen and Football. It being football season is going to make it bery hard. Having our parties and him devouring my pockets of joy and tossing the football with me in the front of my house was the best thing about football season for me. Ricky and I would like to know if there is a place that will be designated in Homer's memory so that we can visit him and talk to him. If anyone knows where this place is, can you please contact me at 825-7043? Please keep everyone you love close and tell them how important they are to you everyday. Life is short. Plus it makes everyones day better to hear that they are loved. Homer definitely is.

Dr. Perez was the personification of benevolence, generosity and compassion. He was a blessing to more than we can ever imagine, and he will be missed. May God continue to strengthen, stabilize and settle his family during this season.
