KATHERINE MULLIS, 66
Ocala - Katherine Mullis Whisenhunt, 66, of Ocala passed away Friday, November 3, 2017. Kathy was born April 5, 1951 in Eastman, GA to R.T. and Lillian Mullis.
She was preceded in death by her father, R.T. Mullis; and her husband, William (Bill) M. Whisenhunt.
Kathy was a graduate of Ocala High School and was the owner of BMW Window Coverings since 1986. Kathy loved the outdoors and was an avid bicyclist. She enjoyed traveling throughout the United States. Kathy was a Lifetime member of the Elks Lodge and the Ocala Lions Club.
Kathy is survived by her mother, Lillian Mullis of Ocala; her brother, Samuel (Gene) Mullis (Connie) of Ocala; nephew, Jamie Mullis; niece, Amanda Mullis Schnell; great niece, Olivia Schnell; friend and business associate, George Van Natta of Ocala.
Funeral service for Kathy will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00pm in the Roberts of Ocala Chapel with Minister Francis Hunter officiating. The family will receive friends starting at 1:30pm. Interment will follow at Highlands Memorial Park. I was shocked and saddened to see Kathys obituary in todays paper. I knew Kathy when she had that maroon (?) Corvette and we called her Kathy Corvette. She was a sweet and caring person. So sorry for your loss.
