Deepest condolences to Honor's family and friends. She was indeed loved and will be missed by many.

I have only known Honor for about the past seven years but had a real connection with her the moment I met her. I had the honour of taking care of her Beloved dogs and felt a kinship to her as soon as we met. I admired her tenacity, quick wit and love for the woods.She loved her family
And I enjoyed Hearing about all the fabulous dinners over many holidays. I only wish I had more time with her. I think of her often and miss her so. Thank you Honor for our time together.

Moments after arriving I was led on a walking tour of the hills and forest,
the joy that it all brought to her on full display; her light and enthusiasm for it all so palpable. Later when I asked what kept her going, she straightaway answered, " The trees ! ". Of course.
She loved it all, she loved us all.

Honor was such a dear friend. Our friendship started 1979 at the Don Area Food Co-op and endured. Our discussions were always engaging, meaningful and often humorous. My last conversation with her was in September. It was always a pleasure for me and my family to meet up with her at her home near Grafton. I will miss her profoundly.

I am so sorry to read about your Mom. She is an iconic figure in my childhood memories. Her wild heart and commitment to authenticity has stayed with me all these years. Her memory will continue to remind me that freedom comes from within.
