Funeral service for the Reverend Horace Fears, 65, (formerly of Anniston) will be on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at 11 a.m. at the Mt. Olive Baptist where Pastor Ronnie C. Beavers and the Rev. Emerson Ayers, officiating and the Rev. Sammie Lee, eulogist. Interment will follow in Eden Hills Cemetery. The Reverend Fears passed away on January 26, 2015 at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas. Viewing will start on Thursday at 9 a.m. at Mt. Olive Baptist Church prior to his service. Survivors include his wife, Stacy Fears, of Denver, Colo.; daughter, Tameka A. Fears; stepsons, Minister Marcus Malone and Thomas Malone; siblings, Bertha (Robert) Booth, of Atlanta, Ga., Vera (The Rev. Emerson) Ayers, of Brian, Texas, Annabelle (Ben) Bostick, of Dayton, Ohio; in-laws, Cyril Jr. (Brenda) LeBoeuf, of Los Angeles, Calif., Cynthia J. (Gregory), of Denver, Colo., Dana (Marjorie) LeBoeuf, Patrice (Percy) Burfict, all of Houston, Texas; mother-in-law, Verna Madere, of Houston, Texas; other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Roscoe Lincoln "Link" Fears and Eunice Patton; his son, Stacey Fears; brothers, Alfred Fears, James Fields and Raymond Fields and father- in-law, Cyril LeBeouf Sr. Anniston Funeral Services "Where service begins and never ends." 256-236-0319
